Bee Stings Help
A bee can sting and hurt. Even if we avoid
antagonizing them, they may sting if their bee hive is
disturbed, or if we inadvertently get too close to them.
The sting can really hurt and some quick home
remedy may be required to get immediate relief from the pain while
the affected person is treated. Bee stings may cause an allergy
reaction in some people and they may require a visit to the medical
practitioner in severe cases. Multiple bee stings can be quite
painful and in extreme cases the venom may be fatal to some allergic
people.
To mitigate the pain, here are two quick
solutions.
Grab an aspirin tablet from your emergency box
and rub it slowly on the bite/sting. It will act as a local
anesthetic and reduce swelling and pain.
Another home remedy is to squeeze some onion
juice and apply that fresh juice on the bee sting. The onion juice
will also immediately reduce swelling and pain.
Do remember that bee / wasp stings can cause
allergy reactions in some people and depending upon the
severity of the reaction, a medical practitioner may be consulted.
It is also important to remove the stinger from the affected area as
quickly as possible.
In rare cases, if the young child is stung on the
throat, the venom may cause the breathing tubes to swell
necessitating an immediate trip to a hospital.
Stay Safe.
