Fix Those Smells - More Tips to Remove Odor from Home and elsewhere. Continued.

We will use commonly available ingredients at home to remove difficult odors from odd places and create a smell and stink free environment at home and around.

Sour milk smell from baby bottles can be removed by boiling the bottles in water to which half a teaspoonful of baking soda powder has been added. This helps to sterilize the bottle and also remove all smells.

Foot odor can be controlled the easy way. First of all sprinkle baking soda on the shoes kept overnight. This should remove all smells associated with the shoes. Then soak the feet in water to which vinegar has been added. Alternatively rub the feet with lemon peels and soak in hot water to which lemon juice has been added. Remove and rub dry. Do this in the night before sleeping and it should help control the bad smell.

A quick fix can be found in cologne. Rub a cotton ball soaked in cologne to the feet and keep smelling nice.

Change socks twice a day to help control bad smells.

A stinking kitchen sink can be deodorized at home. There are two easy ways.

First way involves the use of bleach. Pour some bleach down the drain, let it stand for a few hours. This will help kill bacteria causing the smells. Flush after five hours or so with hot water to remove these smells.

Baking soda  can also help de cog an kitchen drain and help remove smells. Pour a mixture of baking soda and hot water in the kitchen sink drain and let it stand for three to four hours. Flush with more hot water to clear the drain and remove smells.

Mothball odors can be removed effectively only by airing. Air the clothes or any other object exposed to moth balls to get rid of the smell. There is no other effective way to get rid of this persistent clinging smell.
