Ice cream stains can be removed with Borax. Apply
a little borax on ice cream stains and then wash with cold water to
get rid of that pesky stain.
If you got hair dye stains on your clothes, don't
panic. Soak the clothes in water for a couple of hours and then
apply hot glycerin on them. Wait for a short while and wash the
garment.
Remove stains from your velvet fabrics, the easy
way. A simple solution is to mix two tablespoons of household
ammonia with an equal quantity of warm water. Rub the solution over
the stained area with a brush. The stains will start vanishing with
the rubbing.
Ball-point ink stains on white fabric is a
particular problem for school going children. You can eliminate
these stains by applying a little cologne on the them.
Chocolate stains can be removed with glycerin.
Rub the affected area vigorously with glycerin. Wait for fifteen
minutes and then wash off, with a little warm water.
Remove wax stains from garments easily. Simply
keep the garment in a refrigerator and let the wax harden. Scrub off
with a blunt knife and iron the garment from the reverse to find a
clean stain, free garment.
Tea and coffee stains on garments can be removed
if immediate action is taken on staining. Sprinkle some talcum
powder and leave on for fifteen minutes. Dust off the powder and the
stains should have vanished if you have taken quick action.
